AI-written or assisted for sure, and hilariously large ESP32 vs the scale in the AI-generated image. Also, you can get the Home Assistant machine's own Bluetooth hardware to do the same thing. There's an out of the box integration for Withings and Home Assistant will auto detect the scale just as it auto detects other Bluetooth devices like thermometers, etc. My 15 year old laptop running Home Assistant captures all Bluetooth devices across the entire home, no need for single purpose glorified Bluetooth to WiFi adapters.
Very light on details, but did awaken me to the idea that you can setup HW projects like this without soldering. Bluetooth is practically ubiquitous, and ESPhome does offer this up in a palatable way
