    i think the next move is getting rid of auxillary plugs that allow you to use your own media, forcing consumption through onboard hardware and services. after that, disabling devices under the auspices of safety so that handheld or mobile media is not an option.

      Are there any current production cars that have aux plugs for audio? Seems like that was supplanted by Bluetooth audio quite a while back.

        in the US there are lots, i have a 2026 chevy product with a 3.5 power jack, and Aux audio jack, along with USB sockets all over the place but not all of them are for data some are for charging or powering small accessories.
