    A project at work had the client ask for realtime interface - in the sense that updates instantly to configurations - exact because of that. We came up with a faster way to calculate things and a simplified mathematical model, the idea is after some experiments are done the defined settings are explored in more thoroughly runs for sensitivity analysis of different parameters. The client ask for the preview was exactly because of the belief that no one would care if things weren’t instantly shown, as they thought the idea would be harder to sell for upper management.
